The Johnsons are no strangers to Disney magic—they love traveling around to experience different DVC properties in Florida. But this trip marked their very first time visiting the Atlantic coast in Vero Beach, and they wanted to ensure this milestone was captured for their family’s visual legacy.
We met up inside the main lobby before heading toward the lush coastal greenery and down to the shore.

15 Minutes North (Sebastian, FL): Grab a morning brew at Beebs Beans Coffee, enjoy waterfront dining at Blackfins at Captain Hirams or Mulligan's Beach House, or relax at Pareidolia Brewing Co.
15 Minutes South (Vero Beach, FL): Head down to Ocean Drive for local coffee at Vero Grounds Coffee, iconic oceanfront dining at Ocean Grill, quick casual bites at Casey's Place, and a sweet treat at Kilwin's Ice Cream.
Does Disney's Vero Beach Resort have the best beach for young children?
A.The beach directly behind the resort is gorgeous, but because it opens straight to the Atlantic, the ocean surf can sometimes be a bit active for little ones. For calmer waters, I recommend driving down to Fort Pierce Inlet State Park or up to Sebastian Inlet State Park. Both require a small vehicle entry fee, but during low tide, they offer protected, shallow water areas that are ideal for young kids to splash and play safely.
Can we bring an outside photographer to take family photos during our stay?
A.Yes! Registered guests are welcome to have an outside photographer join them on-site. Simply notify the front desk prior to our session to add JJ Lain (Memory Lain Photography) to your reservation guest list, and we will meet you directly in the resort lobby to kick off your beach adventure.
